40 DAY "RENEW YA' MIND" PRAYER FOCUS

:: DAY 16 "Pray Without Ceasing" ::

-Read James 4:8, 1 Thes. 5:17, 1 Cor. 14: 14-15, John 10: 1-5

As believers that are filled with The Spirit of God, we should be praying all of the time, not only 15 minutes before we go to work, or 15 minutes before we go to bed...but all of the time. When some people hear the word prayer, they immediately think of some well written, repetitive, incantation sounding chant. That is not what prayer is. Prayer in it's simplest definition is a conversation between God and His child. Yes, there are different types of prayer, and all prayer should be initiated with a Holy reverence for our awesome Father, but that doesn't mean that we have to put on some phony voice or "lingo." Just be real with God when you 're talking to Him! (pour your heart out to him)...and talk to Him all of the time. Pray with understanding (English for most of us)...and pray in your prayer language (tongues)...oh yeah...and don't forget to be quiet and listen....cause God is talking back. Prayer is a dialogue, not a monologue. Talk to God every chance you get today...take your prayer life to the next level.

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: I talk to God all of the time, and He talks to me all of the time...I know His voice and He knows mine!!
