"True Unity" by Stephanie a.k.a. Mrs. MYNISTA

True unity seems to be something that is hard to come
by these days. The Word of God makes it clear how we
are to live as believers in this world that is not our
real home. We are ambassadors for Christ, and as
such, we should live our lives differently. We should
stand out; we should not look and act like the rest of
the world. We should be unified, not just as the Body
of Christ as a whole but also living as part of the
Body in our homes. Our family members who know God
are also our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Bible says the world will be able to recognize us
because of the love that we show towards each other.
This love should start with those closest to us, with
the people that we come in contact with everyday. A
pastor once asked me how could I expect to minister to
anyone else if I couldn’t be a minister, a carrier of
God’s love, in my own home!

Ephesians 4:1-3 says:

1 I THEREFORE, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to
and beg you to walk (lead a life) worthy of the
[divine] calling to which you have been called [with
behavior that is a credit to the summons to God's
service,
2 Living as becomes you] with complete lowliness of
mind (humility) and meekness (unselfishness,
gentleness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one
another and making allowances because you love one
another.
3 Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the
harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit in
the binding power of peace.

We should strive to live out all of these qualities:
being humble, unselfish, gentle, mild, patient, etc.,
in our home first before we try to reach the rest of
the world. Most people, saved or unsaved, can spot
someone who is not genuine pretty quickly, and if
you’re constantly smiling at everyone else and giving
the “stink eye” to your spouse for example, it won’t
be long before you’ll be labeled a “faker”.

Ephesians 4:2 tells us to make allowances simply
because we love one another. That means cut people
some slack. You’re not perfect and neither is anyone
else! Part of being a member of a family, whether
it’s related through blood or otherwise, is not giving
up on each other and walking in forgiveness.
Remember, God cannot forgive you (His hands are tied
according to His Word) if you refuse to forgive
someone else.

In Ephesians 4:3 we are commanded to guard the unity
we have. Why? Because Satan would love to steal it
from us. No one can upset you like those closest to
you! We need to work hard to guard not only our
hearts but also to be “on the wall” guarding others’
hearts too. That means if you know something that
you’re about to say will only bring division, don’t
say it. We all know what “buttons” to push when we
want to make someone we love mad. It’s at that time
that we must exercise self-control and shut up.

Ephesians 4:3 tells us that peace is a binding power.
When we do our parts to keep the peace, that peace in
our home will in turn keep us bound together. Where
peace is missing so is that binding power, and that’s
when the enemy can come in and tear our families
apart. Don’t be misled...that’s his goal!

Ask God to show you where you can work harder to bring
unity into your home. Ask Him to reveal to you places
where you may be unknowingly giving Satan a foothold.
We can all work harder in keeping the peace, and it’s
when we do our part that those who don’t know God will
be drawn to Him through this aspect of our lives.

"Welcoming Your Future--A Promise from God is the Future Waiting to Be Born"

"It's time to make an adjustment to your present and clear it of all the cluttering forces of unforgiveness, resentment, fear, anger...so that the future can have a place to feel welcome and appear."

Waiting is Part of the Deal

I was recently in my prayer closet, and God started telling me He wanted His people to understand that there is a sound being released. On the day of Pentecost, it was not their praying that brought in the masses, but the Bible said that there was a sound that was released and it was that sound which drew the masses (Acts 2:1-4). If we don't have a sound from Heaven, then we're not going to draw anybody. The sound terrifies the powers of darkness. It took unusual faith for the 120 people to wait in an upper room, in the hope that something unusual would take place--something that had never happened before. Waiting is part of the deal. WELCOMING THE PROMISE and making your surroundings pleasant so that the FUTURE FEELS WELCOME is also part of the deal.

Just before the sound came from Heaven into the upper room, they had prepared the atmosphere for the promise to be born and they were together in one accord. There is a specific moment when a sound from God is released, and what's amazing is, that divine "sound" has to enter a human being before it can affect humanity and the atmosphere that we are privileged to share with others. It takes an unusual kind of person to have unusual faith. I expect a miracle, not tomorrow, not next week, but today, at this very moment in time.

Guess what? I deserve it! You deserve it! Is it arrogant to say that I deserve a miracle? NO! Because my miracle was set-aside for me long before I was even born, in something called the ETERNAL COVENANT of God, the Ancient Covenant. Long before you were even born, there was a Covenant called the "Everlasting Covenant" that God set-aside just for you and me. You deserve it, not because you're good; you deserve it because God has made a Covenant with you. That Covenant is Christ Jesus.

What's in the Covenant? There's deliverance, restoration, redemption, healing, mercy, everlasting mercy and kindness from the heart of God, AND your destiny. If you really want to know what's in the Covenant, open up your Bible and whatever is written on those pages, you deserve!

God's Covenant with us is an unfailing source of consolation. During my early morning dedication, I felt instructed to look at Psalm 111:9, "He has sent redemption to His people; He has COMMANDED HIS COVENANT FOREVER...." You are the recipient of the Covenant God made long before Christ came to the earth, long before you were born. One of the greatest consolations for God's people is the fact that there is a Covenant, and not only is God determined to apply the blessings of the Covenant, but God says, "I COMMAND My Covenant forever." When you say yes to Christ, you belong in the field of blessing. We don't have to sit in some back seat somewhere. We've been given front row seats.

God said, "Tell My people there is a mountain to be taken and Caleb already paid the price. They don't have to pay the same price." If you read the grand story of Caleb in the Bible, you'll see that he was given a promise and because of the unbelief of the people, he held onto that promise for approximately forty years. THE FUTURE LIVED IN A MAN, WAITING TO BE BORN! The only thing that stopped the promise from appearing was the unbelief of the people of Israel. The promise did not feel welcome. When the time came for Joshua and the Israelites to take the land, Caleb made a bold statement which makes us realize that he had built up faith over this period to "take a mountain for his possession," and that he understood the power of a Covenant promise. When God makes a promise, He is commanding His Covenant upon you. Caleb did in fact take the mountain filled with giants.

Faith is Already Available to You--NOW

Something you need to understand is that once someone in history has used his or her faith to do something, then that faith becomes accessible to you and me. God said David already paid the price and built Zion. You belong on Zion because he paid the price for you. Abraham already paid the price and now you have unusual faith. All of these, who were before you, have paved the way for you, and Christ Himself in a Covenant has made it possible for you to be a victor. You cannot be a loser; you cannot lose with this Covenant on your side.

Where there is a Covenant, there is a resurrection. Resurrection means, "a rising again, as from decay, disuse, etc.; revival, the act of bringing back to practice, notice or use." Therefore, whatever has taken place in the past, whether through Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel, Ruth, Esther, Mary, Paul, Peter and so on, it has the potential to be revived and commanded by God into our present time.

The specifics and dynamics may not be the same, but the faith to accomplish a similar act is within the Covenant and available for you. The reason so many modern day revivals are redundant is because most people in the revival have no clue what is being revived. We are left with numerous church people enjoying months and possibly years of continual spiritual moments and certain miracles, but very seldom can we pinpoint exactly what happened. I am not belittling the tremendous revivals of the past, but we need a prophetic voice to specify what is being resurrected and for what reason.

The future is NOW, inside of you. The present is NOW, outside of you. The future wants to become the present. However, in many instances, our present is so full of unbelief, fear, anger, resentment and lack of anticipation, the future does not feel welcome. I know this sounds crazy, but if you think about the future being inside of you wanting to become the present and wanting to be born, you will realize that you and I actually control what happens to a promise from God. A PROMISE FROM GOD IS THE FUTURE WAITING TO BE BORN.

Adjust Your Present for Your Future

Is our "present" welcoming the future? It's time to make an adjustment to your present and clear it of all the cluttering forces of unforgiveness, resentment, fear, anger, etc., so that the future can have a place to feel welcome and appear. Christ was the future for thousands of years. He had been a promise through Moses and the law, and through the prophets. At the time of His appearing, Rome was controlling the Jewish people, and Israel was in disarray. Fear and corrupt religion were blinding the eyes of the majority of the Jews. Christ was not welcomed by the present. He was born in a stable with animals around him. Very few believed that this was actually the future (God's promise) that had been born. A jealous, religious dictator who ruled as "king" and Roman leaders all threatened because of His RIGHTFUL claim as King of Kings, and they threatened the few who welcomed Him. He had that rightful claim through the Covenant.

You have to make an adjustment in your present by taking the future, your promise and destiny, and applying it to your present by proclaiming it, commanding it and adoring it. Treat it well and it will treat you well. Whatever is not in line with your destiny needs to be adjusted or removed. If something is standing in your way in terms of your future, get it out of your life!

Something is emerging on the earth today because of what was established long before the earth came into existence. You must constantly remind yourself of the antiquity of that Covenant. (Antiquity means the ancientness of it). It is not something new that was thought up two years ago by some glamorous pulpiteer. Abraham or Moses didn't think it up. This was thought up long before the earth was even designed. I want you to appreciate the antiquity of your Covenant, the ancientness of it. You have eternity in your DNA. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, it says that God has placed eternity in the heart of men. Eternity means past, present and future all in one. As a living being, you have eternity in your DNA, which is your information structure. It is not only your genetic information, but also your spiritual destination.

Your DNA drives you to the place that you know has been set-aside for you. I'm not talking about golden streets or some beautiful place where you sit on a cloud and pluck on a harp; I'm talking about a destiny on this earth--a destiny that does not belong to some ungodly man who's going to spend it on bad ways of living. I'm talking about a righteous and upright man or woman who is going to take something for the Kingdom and influence society and their world with God's wisdom, life and love.

There is no doubt in my mind that our offering is as ancient as the Covenant itself. Long before man was created, the offering was around. Before you and I were born, God gave His son for us. He sowed into our future and He has reaped many sons and daughters--and that is His reward. We also have a reward. Recently, God has been challenging Jane and I to sow as we have never done before and we willingly submitted to His requests. Before we knew it, we had made two huge offerings, but had we not understood the principle and the power of giving, we would never have acted. God revealed to us that once we had taken the step and multiplied our giving, He would raise the standard and we would never turn back. In other words, now that we had raised the level of our giving, we would never go back to the level we were before, PLUS, the reaping would rise to that level. It's very exciting.

According to Matthew 10:41-42, Jesus said, "He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whoever gives to one of these little ones (in rank or influence) even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward."

Apparently, according to our Lord, the reward is not just a one-time thing but an ongoing, weekly experience of favor, grace, provision, and everything that God has placed in your reward. Jesus also suggests that the reward can be lost. "Whoever gives to these little (humble) ones...shall not lose his reward." According to this specific verse, our giving keeps our reward secure. I encourage you to sow and enjoy obeying God in the amount that you should give. He may challenge you as He did us, and now we are watching favorable things unfold before our eyes.

11/12/07 [God's Way] (By Stephanie a.k.a. "Mrs. Mynista")

There’s a difference between God’s will and God’s way.
People are always praying for God’s will to be done
in their lives, which is good, but sometimes you just
need to educate yourself about what God’s way would be
in your situation and do that.

For example, you can’t pray for God’s will to be done
in your finances and just sit back doing nothing and
expect for money to fall from the sky. You need to
discover God’s way, which is the giving of your tithe
as well as offerings. Be obedient to God’s way and
then witness His will come to pass, i.e. financial
freedom.

You can’t expect God’s will if you’re not following
His way.

For example, you can’t expect to live a long, healthy
life, which is God’s will, if you’re eating trash and
not being active. Learn how to live and eat God’s
way, and you’ll walk in His will of divine health.

The more you acquaint yourself with the Word of God,
which is His blueprint for every area of your life,
the more equipped you are to walk according to His
will and His way. The Bible tells us to hide His Word
in our hearts so that we won’t sin against Him.
Sinning is simply missing the mark. The more Word you
have in you, along with the strength and guidance of
the Holy Spirit, the less you will miss His mark in
your daily life.

It is so important for you to stay in the Word of God, especially during this season (Increase your intake). God talks to us, leads us and guides us through His Word. God is getting ready to give you important instructions out of His Word, this "Rhema Word" that He is about to give you will literally cause a "shift" to take place in your life as you act upon it.....and more will come, and IF you act upon those "Rhema" Words...even more will come. These are the Words that YOU need to hear (hear by faith...knowing that It's God speaking directly to you)....these Words (The Rhema Words that are on their way to you) are the Words that impart FAITH! Ask God to "illuminate" you as you meditate on His Word. Then DO THE WORD (Rhema Word) that God gives you. If the faith that comes by "hearing" is not WORKED...it is dead.

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: Faith is coming to me as I hear the Rhema Word of God, and I hear the Rhema (God's specific "living" Word to me) Word of God, as I meditate on the Word (Logos Word...Written Word) of God !! I work my faith...my faith is alive!!!

Keep your eyes on Jesus. Sometimes we have a pre-planned "breakthrough" and deliverance route all mapped out in our minds. Then when God doesn't come through for us in the way, through the people, and in the TIME that WE had "pre-planned", we get discouraged. Let's allow God to be God....He's an expert at His job....He's a professional at being God...He does GOOD work! Your help is on the way...and God is your source! ONLY BELIEVE!

We need to have the kind of attitude that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had when it comes to our faith walk and trusting God. We should know without a doubt that He is faithful, and that He is able to come through for us, but at the same time, be willing to continue being faithful to Him, and keep standing and praising Him even if for some reason He decided not to deliver us from our personal "fiery furnace" of trials and afflictions!! Tell God that you're with Him regardless if He delivers you or not. Tell Him that you'll still serve Him. Tell the enemy that you refuse to "bow down" to him.

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: I refuse to bow down to Satan and my circumstances. I will continue to love, praise, and serve God...He's able to deliver me from this. And even if He doesn't deliver me from this here "fiery furnace" that I'm in right now, I'll still praise and serve Him!!

He has anointed you, and that anointing is for a purpose...It's not just for you...but it's for others that need it (and you will benefit from it as well, as you are walking in it BY FAITH and being a blessing)! Wake up and recognize the "heavy" goodness of God "on" your life. "See it in the Spirit, believe it in your heart. Speak it out ya' mouth...SEE, it's not hard!!" ONLY BELIEVE!!

This is another simple, yet "On Time" Word for you...God is with you. sometimes our circumstances are trying to tell us that God is not with us, but we can't listen to our circumstances, we have to believe The Word of God! God was with Daniel in the lions den, He was with Joseph in the pit and the prison, He was with David in the cave, He was with Jeremiah in the miry pit, He was with Elijah when the river dried up, and He was with Jesus, and all of His disciples as they endured persecutions and beatings. Believe that the joy of the Lord is your strength, believe that the Lord is the strength of your life...He's with you!

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: I know that God is with me...regardless of what my circumstances are trying to tell me..."GOD IS WITH ME!! His joy is my strength, He is the strength of my life!!.

:: DAY 35 "We Gotta Get You Outta' Here!" (A Prophetic Word)::

It's on my heart strongly this morning that some of you (or someone) are/is in a place that God is trying to get you to "flee" for your own good. It's like firemen rescuing a wounded person from a smokey, burning building. The firemen are not going to try to "doctor" on the person in the midst of that calamity! For that persons own good, the firemen are going to say "we gotta get you outta' here!", then get the person to safety where the "proper" medical treatment can be given in a "secure location." Remember Lots wife, and don't look back!

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: I'm not looking back...I trust God's guidance.

:: DAY 33 "The Creative Church" ::

God never intended for His people to be an uncreative, trend following, fad conscious, imitate the world "brand" of people. In the beginning (Genesis), God breathed His Spirit into Adam and gave him life. In that life (the life of God...the God kind of life, or "Zoe") was the very creativity of God. In fact, God even brought all of the animals to Adam, so that Adam could put that creativity into action by naming ALL of the animals! There was no one else around to discourage Adam by giving their opinions about the names that he had given, and there were no trendy "animal names" around for him to copy. He just flowed in The Spirit! As the Body of Jesus Christ, filled with the creative Spirit of God, we are to be innovative and creative as we flow in The Holy Spirit. Take your eyes and ears off of trends and fads (In the world, and in the Church), so that the creativity of The Holy Spirit can be expressed through you without external influences. Ask God to convict you of any influences that may be hindering His creativity in you. Then separate yourself from those influences.

:: DAY 33 "Testing" ::

-Read Ps. 66:10-12, Ps. 23, Eph. 4:29-30, 1 Pet 1:6-7, Hebr. 13:5-6, James 1:2-4, 2 Tim. 1:7

When some people hear the word "test", they immediately think of the kind of test that a school gives it's students to gauge their levels of education academically. Well what's on my heart right now, is that some of us have just exited a season of testing. The kind of testing that I'm talking about is not the kind that I mentioned above however. This kind of testing that we have been enduring is more along the lines of "quality control". Before a company puts out a product, they take it through some "extremes" to make sure that it's gonna hold up when being used by the consumer. Well, that's what God has been allowing us to go through. He has been allowing us to "go through" for our benefit (to make sure that we don't destroy ourselves in this next level), and for the benefit of The Body of Christ as a corporate "consumer" (so that we are edifying others and not destroying them). If you have been "through" recently....well done and welcome to the next level. If you have not been through yet...get ready, cause you are on your way in...and God is with you, so don't fear....It's for the good of everyone.

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: I thank you God that you know what's best...I want your best, so I thank you for "The Test."

:: DAY 32 "Processing" ::

-Read 2 Cor. 4:7-10

A diamond is made from coal that has been extremely pressurized. That's not the end of the process however. We then take that diamond in it's "Raw" form, and we cut on it, and polish it before we present it to the world as beautiful jewelry. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us." Don't be surprised if you have been going through a "pressurizing", "cutting" and "polishing" process lately. God has you in a place where He is preparing you to shine (it's actually Him in you)...so that His glory(treasure) can shine through you even more.

Ask God to show you His way. His way is higher than the way of your own thought process. Yield your thought process to The Spirit of God. Allow God to have His way. Reposition yourself to receive God's abundance in your soul (mind, will, emotions).

It aint always easy, and we don't always understand....but just keep on trustin' God, regardless of how you feel, and regardless of what it looks like. Simple word, but it's on time. Wait on The Lord (wait in faith): Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on The Lord!

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: I'm patiently waiting on The Lord in faith, I believe that I will see His goodness in the land of the living (here on Earth, NOW)...I refuse to faint (give up)!!!
