:: DAY 28 "The Anointed Man JESUS" ::

-Read Acts 2:22-24, Acts 10:38, Phil 2:5-11, 2 Cor. 8:9, Math. 3:13-17, Mark 5:25-34, John 14, Rom. 8:29

A lot of Christians don't know that Jesus walked the Earth as a man anointed by The Holy Spirit, and not as God. True, Jesus was God (the second person of the triune Godhead a.k.a. the "Trinity") in the flesh, however, He laid down His divinity, and took the form of one of God's servants (That's what the bible means when it says that He became poor, so that we could become rich). Jesus had to be anointed first in order for Him to perform any signs, miracles, or wonders. That's what happened to Him at the river Jordan when He was baptized by John The Baptist. The reason Jesus had to pray is because He was totally dependent upon the Holy Spirit, just like you and I are to be...so He had to get guidance from the Father, and "Be Filled" with The Holy Spirit just like we have to. If He was operating as God here on Earth, He wouldn't have needed to pray. When the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus' garment....He did not even know who touched Him....He was not all knowing while walking the Earth. Anything that He knew about people, like the things that He knew about the woman at the well, was the result of the gifts of The Holy Spirit in operation (Word of Wisdom/Word of Knowledge etc.). Jesus was a walking example of the will of God in action for anointed men and women of God TODAY. We Know that Jesus was without sin, and through His Blood, we have been redeemed and washed clean, and the Father sees US as sinless...Through the Blood of Jesus! Wow. We have no excuses now. We are not to put "THE MAN" Jesus in a "league of His own", as His brothers and sisters, and joint heirs of His glory...we are to do the same works that He did, and even greater. But "AS GOD" (He has now "returned" to His former Glory), He is in a league of His own. He's our only Lord and Savior. He's King of Kings, and Lord of Lord's...Jesus Christ.

TODAY'S FAITH CONFESSION: I have no excuses. I have been qualified by God through the Blood of Jesus. the same works that Jesus did while He was on Earth, I do also, and even greater...by faith in The Name of Jesus...Jesus Is Lord!
